Procedure
  • “Consumer's Ombudsman” takes over the case handling, following the submission of a complaint.

  • A consumer’ is any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.

  • The complaint must be submitted within one year, after the interested party became fully aware of the harmful act or omission that constitutes the consumer dispute.

  • “Consumer's Ombudsman” does not take over cases pending in judicial authorities.

  • “Consumer's Ombudsman” may file a complaint that is clearly vague, unfounded or unimportant

  • “Consumer's Ombudsman” examines objectively and impartially the cases under his jurisdiction, based on the pronciple of listening to both sides and providing the opportunity to them to communicate their views to the Authority.

  • The parties have the right to withdraw from the procedure at any time.
