This area of activity includes issues related to the supply of electricity and natural gas as well as the provision of connection services to the Electricity and Natural Gas Distribution Network.

More specifically, Consumer's Ombudsman deals with issues related to the pre-contractual information of consumers, the legality of the terms of the contract, issues about transparent pricing and issuance of Bills, the modification of contracts and the legality of the procedure for claiming debts and issuing power cut-off orders.

Regarding the connection to the Distribution Networks, Consumer's Ombudsman examines issues related to the connection and disconnection to the Network, the implementation of a change of suppliers, the regular collection of measurements as well as the control of the correctness of the measurements and the correction of the measurements, the restoration of the technical problems in the meters as well as the compensation of consumers from voltage disturbances.


Water supply

This area of activity includes issues related to the provision of water and sewerage services by water companies throughout the country.

More specifically, Consumer's Ombudsman delas with issues of connection to the water supply and sewerage network, maintenance of the water supply network and meters, control of the correctness of the measurements, issues of reduction of unusually increased debts, legality of claims (water theft, sewerage fees, leaks, leaks from internal racing), consumer protection measures (informing consumers about inability to count, immediate information in cases of increased consumption).
